Application

DW17 Series Air Circuit Breaker  are applied to AC50Hz circuit of rated 400V or 690V and rated current 630A-4000A.to distribute electric energy.to switch the circuit infrequently,or to protect the power distribution system,motor and so on devices from overload,undervoltage and short circuit.The breaker ratefd 630A or below can be used in AC 50Hz 400V network to protect the motor from overload and short circuit to start the motor infrequently under the normal conditions.

Construction features

The breaker employs the three-dimensional building block construction.It has four frame current grades:630-1605,2000-2505,3200-3205,and 4000-4005.The four frames are based on the frame current grade of 630-1605 and the other frames are assembled by the building block construction according to the different current ratings.It is composed of the frame,contact system.arc-extinguishing system,release,operating mechanism,drawer base,insert blade base,and secondary connection loop.There are two overall construction -fixed and draw-out type,the draw-out type breaker is provided with the lengthened guide rail so that it will be easier for users to maintain it.It has two connection modes,one is vertical incoming and outgoing wire and the other is horizontal incoming and outgoing wire,The operating modes are manual operating type,electric quick operating type,and electric energy-prestoring operating type,Its overcurrent release is omposed of th instantaneous release,long time delay release and short timne delay release,which can be combined by the users themselves according to the aplication requirements to realize the one-section or two-section protection.
